Ten Guidelines From God #3

3. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me,
quit trying to take them back. Trust in
Me. Have the faith that I will take care of
all your needs, your problems and your trials.
Problems with the kids? Put them on My list.
Problem with finances? Put it on My list.
Problems with your emotional roller coaster?
For My sake, put it on My list. I want to
help you. All you have to do is ask.

Ten Guidelines From God #2

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it
on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY
to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care
of the problem. I can't help you until you turn
it over to Me. And although My to-do-list
is long, I am after all... God. I can take care
of anything you put into My hands. In fact,
if the truth were ever really known, I take
care of a lot of things for you that you never
even realize.

Ten Guidelines From God #1

Effective immediately,
please be aware that there are changes YOU need
to make in YOUR life. These changes need to be
completed in order that I may fulfill My promises
to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in
this life. I apologize for any inconvenience,
but after all that I am doing, this seems very
little to ask of you. Please, follow
these 10 guidelines

1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit
and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here
to take all your burdens and carry them for you?
Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little
thing that comes your way?

Think Ahead

But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God-[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].

1 Corinthians 2:7

Look ahead to the reward God has for you in heaven. God has already written the end of the Book which says that good news is in store for those who put their faith in Jesus.

Even if you live to be a hundred years old, and have trials every day of your life, Paul said that our momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs all the trials we face now (see 2 Corinthians 4:17-18). Keep your eyes on the finish line and not on the turmoil around you.

You Can Be the Victor Instead of the Victim

Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
-Romans 8:37

Are you hurting physically, emotionally, or mentally? Did you know that you can increase or decrease the intensity of your pain by the way you handle it?

I know from experience and the Word of God that it is possible to be the victor instead of the victim.

The key thing to see is that the victory is "through Christ." If you and I can learn how to lean on God and receive from Him whatever we need, we truly can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13.)

God is more than enough for any situation. He has promised to enable us and to be our helper. As we come into close fellowship with Him spending time with Him and talking with Him in a simple, familiar way we begin to draw strength from Him.

The number one thing I learned was that I had to lean on the Lord to strengthen me. The second thing I learned was not to talk about the problem or even to think about it unless absolutely necessary.

Whatever you may be going through right now, keep your eyes and your conversation on the Lord and off your situation.

Remember this too shall pass.

Do This:

Submit yourself to God in all things. Spend quality time with Him. Wait in His presence, and you will find He is more than enough.

Hope That Never Lets You Down

"Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

Even Christians can sometimes feel hopeless and powerless to overcome adversities. Maybe you feel trapped in your job, or your marriage is in trouble and there doesn't seem to be an answer. You may have a child who is on the wrong path. Or maybe you are single and have given up any hope of ever meeting the right person. But no matter where you are, God can turn your situation around-and it could start happening today! If you believe with all your heart that God has something great around the corner for you, then hope will take over. God's hope is such a powerful thing that it can keep you going when practically nothing else can. That's because God's hope will never fail or let you down, even if everything else does.

A Prayer for Today!
God, thank You for giving me never-ending hope. I confess today that I will live confidently in Your hope because I know I'll never be let down.
In Jesus' Name.
Amen.

Hallelujah Anyhow!

I'm sure we all have much to pray about...especially today.
No matter what the circumstances, REMEMBER to pray! That's all you have to do.

Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost, but a lot of reward. Make sure you pray, and pray believing that God will answer. May today be all that you need it to be today. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways that you have never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged and I pray that you step into your destiny within the ministry. I pray for peace, health, happiness and true undying love for God.

Follow God’s Priorities

The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.
John 10:27

Follow God’s Priorities

Many people try to feel spiritual by obeying religious laws. But they never get around to feeling good, because there is always one more law to follow. That is why God does not define our righteousness by our works, but by our faith in Jesus. We feel inner peace when we obey the voice of the Holy Spirit.

God may tell you that it is more important to give away your favorite personal possession, than to try to please Him by reading the Bible through in a year. He may say that it is more important to just remain silent, if He tells you to, than to volunteer for every activity at church. His ways are not our ways (see Isaiah 55:8-9), so learn to listen for His direction each day.

God’s Plan Is Greater

For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:2

God’s Plan Is Greater

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. We are free from the law of sin and death only to the degree that we follow the law of the Spirit. If we know what is right but insist on doing wrong, our actions may still lead us to miss out on the abundant life God has for us on earth.

Follow the law of the Spirit, and you will remain completely free from the law of sin and death. The Holy Spirit will lead you into holiness, into righteousness, and into the complete destiny that God has for your life. God’s will for you is greater than anything you can imagine for yourself. Be willing to obey God even when you don’t understand what He is doing with you.

The 7 Ups

1. Wake Up !!
Decide to have a good day.
"This is the day the Lord hath made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalms 118:24

2. Dress Up !!
The best way to dress up is to put on a smile.
A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at.
Man looks at outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart."
I Samuel 16:7

3. Shut Up!!
Say nice things and learn to listen.
God gave us two ears and one mouth,
so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking.
"He who guards his lips guards his soul."
Proverbs 13:3

4. Stand Up!!
. . . for what you believe in.
Stand for something or you will fall for anything.
"Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time,
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..."
Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look Up !!
. . . to the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me".
Philippians 4:13

6. Reach Up !!
. . . for something higher.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not unto your own understanding.
In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path."
Proverbs 3:5-6

7. Lift Up !!
. . . your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything; instead
PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
Philippians 4:6

A POSITIVE THOUGHT
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo wou ld be in it.
He sends you flowers every spring, and a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.
He could live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

What about the Christmas gift He sent you in Bethlehem;
not to mention that Friday at Calvary.
Face it, He's crazy about you.

Share this with people you care about.
I thought this was mighty special, just like you.
Pass this on and brighten someone's day, and remember . . .
God answers Prayers!!!

F A M I L Y

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

If both your parents are deceased, then you should have as association with an older person, what about your aunt, or uncles? Have you told them lately, that you love them? Have you called them on the phone just to talk?

Nothing happens out of order or by chance so look for the lesson
that can be learned from each of our experiences.

Lord, there is so much that seems so unjust, but I trust in You and know that all injustice will be made right.
Amen!!

Living by Faith

For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes
is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. (ROMANS 1:17)

UNTIL YOU SEE God face-to-face, you must live by simple faith in Him. Your righteousness both springs from faith and leads to more faith in the ever-living God. Your only source of continued spiritual life is the faith that draws all its sustenance from God. All self-efforts to save yourself and to overcome sin will utterly fail. Only the life and power of the Holy Spirit within you can save you from sin, and faith is the one condition of His working in you

Abraham so believed in God's promise that He offered up Isaac, trusting that God would raise Isaac from the dead. By faith Moses led millions of Jews out of Egypt. By faith Joshua took them into the Promised Land despit fortified cities and giants. By faith the early church stood strong under persecution and could not be stopped. By faith you must move beyond profession into the procession.

You can become more peaceful and a more interesting person

by having a healthy attitude and accepting your responsibilities.

Lord, help me to remember that life is what we make of it.

The Spirit of Dread

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
-Hebrews 11:6

Dread is a close relative of fear. Both dread and fear loudly and clearly declare that we are not operating in faith, which is the only way to truly please God.

Fear frequently prevents us from going forward and doing what we desire to do. Dread steals the peace and joy of "now" because we have a negative attitude toward what we are going to do even though we don't want to feel that way about it.

Understanding that God always equips us for whatever we need to do will bring deliverance from the spirit of dread. We need not dread hard things, new things, challenging things, or even unpleasant things.

We can face life with a confident attitude, knowing that where God guides, He provides. God gives us grace one day at a time just as He gave the Israelites manna one day at a time.

Every time you realize you are dreading something, make a decision to stop dreading and just believe that you can do whatever you need to do with joy because God is with you.

Say This:

"I refuse to dread. I choose to receive God's grace to help me accomplish all that I need to do today."

Enjoy Your Life - Get your Inheritance

Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord not for men, knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward.

Colossians 3:23-24

Jesus died so that you can enjoy abundant life, not just the days you are off work or on vacation or when you get to go shopping or golfing-but every day of your life.

He wants you to enjoy going to the grocery store. He wants you to enjoy driving the kids to school. He wants you to enjoy paying the bills. He wants you to enjoy cleaning the house or mowing the yard.

You can enjoy life if you determine to do so. Say, "I am going to enjoy every aspect of my life, because Jesus died so that I could have joy unspeakable and full of glory."

Sisters in the Lord

TO MY SISTERS IN THE LORD.....

There comes a time in every woman's life when she has to take a close look at herself. Not at her circumstance, not at what she did, not how unfair life is, or not at who made you do it. She has
to just look at herself in all her glory and imperfection. Have you ever admired a woman who has been through changes in her life?
Or have you made up in your mind that she is just messed up.

Before you make this mistake, take a closer look.

A woman who has endured the most unusual life is someone
of wisdom, someone who has been chosen by God to go through things that have made her stronger.

Think of all the great women in the Bible: Mary Magdalene, Ruth and Naomi, the woman with an issue of blood flow, and Abigail, to name a few. Mary was a prostitute, a very uneasy woman. But by the time Jesus was done with her, she was His closest follower.

Abigail was unfortunate in marrying an foolish man, but by the time God was done with her, she had married one of the wealthiest men in the land. Women are so quick to beat the next one down instead of trying to hold her up. Before you wonder,

"What's up with her?" ask yourself, "What's up with me?"

That woman could be my mother, sister, aunt, in-law, stepmother, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, friend, or co-worker, etc.

That woman could be me.

Women are the carriers of life, not the channels of death. Let's build and encourage each other, as did Ruth and Naomi. Pass this to all the women in your life. Encourage and Love, Forgive and Forget, and trust that the woman that receives this will be touched in some way.

May peace and love be upon you.

Prayer for the Day/Week

Father God, Thank You for always being there for me no matter what I face. I can honestly say that You have never failed me, even in my most intense trials. I have not always understood why I was going through certain things; however, I do not have to understand because You are God and You are in control, in spite of my lack of understanding. I know that all You require of me is to trust You, and look to You in faith and You will come and save me, and bring me an answer. You always have, and You always will, because you are faithful. You never fail any of us who look to You. I have failed You, Lord, by my doubt and unbelief at times, but You have never failed me. Help us all to trust You more. I ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Calm Down/Shut Up/Quit Trippin'

Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God."

So many times we make situations more than they are

due to our anxiety,

CALM DOWN! God has your life under control; He knows how to handle even the seemingly complex situation with ease.

SHUT UP ! Stop having pity parties and talking about your business all the time; don't you know that the power of death and life is in the tongue! Stop speaking negative things into existence in your life and in others.

QUIT TRIPPIN'! When you look at your situations through your eyes, you often read more into the situation than what is there. It's not as bad as you think particularly if God is in your life; Stop over
analyzing your life.

Be courageous

2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the spirit
of fear; but of power, and of Love, and of a sound mind.

Fear is not of God. Have the courage to step out on faith and do the seemingly impossible. Start your own business; go into the ministry; apply for that promotion; anything that you've been afraid to do and you know that God has called you to do - JUST DO IT!

Have confidence

Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

Remember, greater is He that's within you than he that's in the world. You have the power of the most

High God working in you, and you have His Son steadily making intercession for you. You have nothing to worry about! Walk with your head up! You say you have low self-esteem; somebody told you that you'd never amount to anything; the devil is a liar! Know that you are somebody not because Jesus said it, but because you
are a child of The King!

Walk in the VICTORY !

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."

Does anything else need to be said?

The jury has been out and the verdict is in - YOU WIN!
In your finances - YOU WIN!
n your job - YOU WIN!
In your relationships (married, single, divorced, family, friends) -YOU WIN!!
In your health - YOU WIN!

God has already worked it out for you. It may not come the way you think it should come (or when you think it should), but remember - CALM DOWN, SHUT UP, AND QUIT TRIPPIN'! He's working it out for "YOUR" good (in His time).

Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet.

Be Blessed TODAY !!

LET GO AND LET GOD, YOU CAN'T FIX IT ANYWAY

To be able to love people when they are unlovely, you must learn to RECEIVE GOD'S LOVE when you have acted unlovely.

Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others].

PETER WAS AN apostle who knew well the meaning of the words, "love covers a multitude of sins." Peter received three specific warnings from Jesus Christ and yet he denied his Lord three times. The memory of each painful failure was etched across his heart with untold grief. Surely he was not worthy of the Lord's kingdom. And yet when Christ arose, His love for Peter was unbroken. His love was as strong as it was tender in restoring the fallen apostle.

The capacity to love those who are unlovely begins with the understanding that God loved you when you were as unlovely as you could possibly be. "But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us" (Romans 5:8).With the love of God poured out in your heart (vs. 5) transforming you disregard the offenses of others.

LET GO AND LET GOD, YOU CAN'T FIX IT ANYWAY!
