Let the devil Take his bags with him

YOU PUT THE DEVIL OUT, BUT DID YOU LET HIM LEAVE HIS BAGS? This is powerful!

You got out of a bad relationship because it was bad, but you are still resentful and angry (you let the devil leave his bags)

You got out of financial debt, but you still can't control the desire to spend on frivolous things (you let the devil leave his bags)

You got out of a bad habit or addiction, but you still long to try it just one more time (you let the devil leave his bags)

You said, I forgive you, but you can't seem to forget and have peace with that person (you let the devil leave his bags)

You told your unequally yoked mate that it was over, but you still continue to call (you let the devil leave his bags)

You got out of that horribly oppressive job, but you are still trying to sabotage the company after you've left (you let the devil leave his bags)

You cut off the affair with that married man/woman, but you still lust after him/her (you let the devil leave his bags)

You broke off your relationship with that hurtful, abusive person, but you are suspicious and distrusting of every new person you meet (you let the devil leave his bags)

You decided to let go of the past hurts from growing up in an unstable environment, yet you believe you are unworthy of love from others and you refuse to get attached to anyone (you let the devil leave his bags)

When you put the devil out, please make sure he takes his bags!

HAPPINESS KEEPS YOU SWEET,
TRIALS KEEP YOU STRONG, AND
SORROWS KEEP YOU HUMAN,
FAILURES KEEP YOU HUMBLE,
SUCCESS KEEPS YOU GLOWING,
BUT ONLY GOD KEEPS YOU GOING!

In The Remainder of 2009, Let the devil Take his bags with him! Be Blessed, Healthy and Happy

TAKING TIME TO....

To everything there is a season, A time
for every purpose under heaven.
( Ecclesiastes 3:1 *NKJV )

In this fast paced World we live in, patience has become a
lost art! We may even think that God isn't hearing our prayers
because they aren't answered instantly.

When you find yourself feeling that way remember to; Rest
in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him (Psalms 37:7)

Therefore, why not slow down and practice patience,
as well as, take time to enjoy the simple things in life like:

TAKING TIME
Take time to think...It is the source of
power.

Take time to play...It is the secret of
perpetual youth.

Take time to read...It is the fountain of
wisdom.

Take time to pray...It is the greatest power
on Earth.

Take time to love and be loved...It is a God-
given privilege.

Take time to be friendly...It is the road to
happiness.

Take time to laugh...It is the music of the
soul.

Take time to give...It is too short a day to be
selfish.

Take time to work...It is the price of
success.

Take time to do charity...It is the key to
Heaven.

Happy are the people whose God is the Lord

He who heeds the word wisely will
find good, and whoever trusts in
the Lord, happy is he.
( Proverbs 16:20 *NKJV )

Do not let the enemy still your joy and leave you downcast!
Instead enjoy what God has given you, for; Happy are
the people who are in such a state; Happy
are the people whose God is the Lord!
( Psalms 144:15 )

Now when we have negative thoughts it draws
negative results into our lives. Likewise, when we think
positive thoughts we draw positive results in as well!

After all when we are downcast it brings on depression,
worry and anxiety.

All of those things are known to cause
health problems.

So always think positive for; A merry
heart does good, like medicine, but a
broken spirit dries the bones.
( Proverbs 17:22 )

Now I know that, Many are the afflictions of
the righteous, but the Lord delivers him
out of them all. ( Psalms 34:19 )

So again, do not let the enemy steal your joy each day. For
you know that; Your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion, seeking
whom he may devour. ( 1 Peter 5:8 )

Enjoy what God has planned for you,
and show that pretty smile of yours. For when you smile
it shows God's joy within you!

Amen.

Dealing with the burdens of life

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:

* Accept that some days you're the pigeon,
And some days you're the statue.

* Always keep your words soft and sweet,
Just in case you have to eat them.

* Always read stuff that will make you look good
If you die in the middle of it.

* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be
Recalled by their maker.

* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again,
It was probably worth it.
* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply be kind to others.

* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time,
Because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

* Nobody cares if you can't dance well.
Just get up and dance.

* Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

* The second mouse gets the cheese.

* Birthdays are good for you.
The more you have, the longer you live.

* You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person.

* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

* We could learn a lot from crayons... Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

*A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Blessings we forget

Often when we count our blessings we forget many of them.
So here are a few that we never think about.

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you can attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare, especially in this World
today.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

So let us; Give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good; His love endures forever.

Amen. ( Psalms 118:29 )

Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord!

Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord!

Your blessings are so many, Lord,
To count them one by one
Would take much longer than a day
That has just now begun!

You fill each day with miracles
From dawn to setting sun.
Each night You hear a million prayers
When day's work is done.

You keep this old world spinning
As seasons come and go,
And each one is a masterpiece
That stets our hearts aglow.

You fill the earth with beauty, Lord,
With flowers, shrubs and trees,
And we marvel at Your rainbows
And butterflies and bees.

Your words still give us comfort
For Your promises are true.
Your blessings are so many, Lord,
In everything we do!

FORGIVE

One day a while back, a man, his heart heavy with grief, was walking in thewoods. As he thought about his life this day, he knew many things were notright. He thought about those who had lied about him back when he had a job.

His thoughts turned to those who had stolen his things and cheated him. Heremembered family who had passed on. His mind turned to the illness he had, that no one could cure. His very soul was filled with anger, resentment, andfrustration.

Standing there this day, searching for answers he could not find, knowing allelse had failed him, he knelt at the base of an old oak tree to seek the one heknew would always be there. And with tears in his eyes, he prayed: 'Lord- You have done wonderful things for me in this life. You have toldme to do many things for you, and I happily obeyed.

Today, you have told me toforgive. I am sad, Lord, because I cannot. I don't know how. It is notfair Lord, I didn't deserve these wrongs that were done against me and Ishouldn't have to forgive. As perfect as your way is Lord, this one thing Icannot do, for I don't know how to forgive. My anger is so deep Lord, Ifear I may not hear you, but I pray you teach me to do the one thing I cannotdo: Teach me to forgive.'

As he knelt there in the quiet shade of that old oak tree, he felt somethingfall onto his shoulder. He opened his eyes. Out of the corner of one eye, hesaw something red on his shirt. He could not turn to see what it was becausewhere the oak tree had been was a large square piece of wood in the ground. Heraised his head and saw two feet held to the wood with a large spike throughthem. He raised his head more, and tears came to his eyes as he saw Jesus hanging ona cross. He saw spikes in His hands, a gash in His side, a torn and batteredbody, deep thorns sunk into His head. Finally he saw the suffering and pain onHis precious face. As their eyes met, the man's tears turned to sobbing, andJesus began to speak. 'Have you ever told a lie?' He asked?

The man answered - 'Yes, Lord.' 'Have you ever been given too much change and kept it?' The man answered - 'Yes, Lord.' And the man sobbed more and more. 'Have you ever taken something from work that wasn't yours?' Jesusasked? And the man answered, 'Yes, Lord.' 'Have you ever sworn, using my Father's name in vain?' The man, crying now, answered - 'Yes, Lord.'

As Jesus asked many more times, 'Have you ever'? The man' s cryingbecame uncontrollable, for he could only answer - 'Yes, Lord'. Then Jesus turned His head from one side to the other, and the man feltsomething fall on his other shoulder He looked and saw that it was the blood ofJesus. When he looked back up, his eyes met those of Jesus, and there was alook of love the man had never seen or known before.

Jesus said, 'I didn't deserve this either, but I forgive you.' It may be hard to see how you're going to get through something, but whenyou look back in life, you realize how true this statement is. Read the following first line slowly and let it sink in. If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it.

When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you!

WHAT HAPPENS IN HEAVEN

I dreamed that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me
around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with
angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said,
'This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in
prayer are received..'

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so
many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets
and scraps from people all over the world. Then we moved on down a long
corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery
Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are
processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them. 'I
noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard
at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were
being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at
the door of a very small station To my great surprise, only one angel
was seated there, idly doing nothing 'This is the Acknowledgment
Section,' my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed
'How is it that there is no work going on here?' I asked.

'So sad,' the angel sighed. 'After people receive the
blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments ..'

'How does one acknowledge God's blessings?' I asked.

'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'Thank you, Lord.'

'What blessings should they acknowledge? ' I asked.

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a
roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this
world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.'
'And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the
1% in the world who has that opportunity. '

'If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ...
you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this
day .'

'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the
loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of
starvation ... you are ahead of 700 million people in the world.'

'If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment,
arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three
billion people in the world .'

'If your parents are still alive and still married ...you
are very rare .'

'If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm,
you're unique to all those in doubt and despair.'

Ok, what now? How can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double
blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are
more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read
at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you want, pass
this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are..

ATTN:
Acknowledge Dept.: 'Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability
to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people to
share it with.'

If you have read this far, and are thankful for all that you
have been blessed with, how can you not send it on???? I thank God for
everything, especially all my family and friends!!

DIRECTIONS TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE

Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep straight and go through
the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto
the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled water.

Now when you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and Keep
Straight. You are on the King's Highway - Heaven-bound.
Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son,
and One for the Holy Spirit.

Then take the Grace Blvd exit. From there, make a Right turn
on Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right on
Prayer Road. As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on
Temptation Ave. Also, avoid SIN STREET because it is a DEAD
END. Pass up Envy Drive, and Hate Avenue. Also, pass
Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane, and Backbiting Blvd.

However, you will have to go down Long-suffering Lane,
Persecution Blvd. and Trials and Tribulations Ave, but that's all
right, because VICTORY Street is straight ahead! AMEN!

Hater/ By Maya Angelou

A hater is someone who is jealous and envious and spends all their
time trying to make you look small so they can look tall.
They are very negative people to say the least. Nothing is ever
good enough!

When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters...

That's why you have to be careful with whom you share your
blessings and your dreams, because some folk can't handle seeing
you blessed...

It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be
like somebody else, He would have given you what He gave them! Right?

You never know what people have gone through to get what they
have...

The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they
don't know my story...

If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you
can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too!

We've all got some haters among us!

Some people envy you because you can:
a) Have a relationship with God
b) Light up a room when you walk in
c) Start your own business
d) Tell a man / woman to hit the curb
(if he / she isn't about the right thing)

e) Raise your children without both parents being
in the home

Haters can't stand to see you happy.
Haters will never want to see you succeed.
Most of our haters are people who are supposed to be
on our side.

How do you handle your undercover haters?
You can handle these haters by:

1. Knowing who you are & who your true friends are
*(VERY IMPORTANT!!)

2. Having a purpose to your life: Purpose does not
mean having a job. You can have a job and still be
unfulfilled.

A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be.
Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you.

3. By remembering what you have is by divine
prerogative and not human manipulation.

Fulfill your dreams! You only have one life to live...when its your
time to leave this earth, you 'want' to be able to say, 'I've lived my
life and fulfilled 'my' dreams,... Now I'm ready to go HOME!

When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters, 'Don't look at
me...Look at Who is in charge of me...'

Pass this to all of your family & friends who you know are
not hating on you.

Watch out for Haters...BUT most of all don't become
a HATER!

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man
should have to seek Him first to find her.'

Maya Angelou

It Is The Enemy Not The Person!

Many times we argue, fuss and fight with each other, never realizing who the real enemy is. The devil is up to the same tricks. The devil desires to cause friction and turmoil within the body of Christ. The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The battle should never be against each other, but against the devil. We, as God’s children, are on the same side. It Is The Enemy Not The Person! It may be hard to accept, but it is very true. The person on your job, in your neighborhood, in your church or even in your home, is not your enemy. There’s a spirit of the enemy trying to attack you through the person. The Bible declares in John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy …

My brother, my sister, who are you constantly battling? Whose trying to hinder your progress? Who do you despise? It Is The Enemy Not The Person! When you notice the attack coming against you through any person or thing, begin to rebuke it. The Bible declares in Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. You have the power to overtake the enemy in your life. You have the authority, given by God, to command the enemy to flee from your life. It Is The Enemy Not The Person! Beloved, stop fighting your brother or sister. The real fight is against the enemy. When hell rises in your place of employment, call that devil out. When fear and doubt tries to consume you, call that devil out. When deception and betrayal has come against you, call that devil out. Thought to Remember: It Is The Enemy Not The Person!

May God Bless you at Your point of need!

God's unfailing love

May your unfailing love rest upon us,
O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
( Psalms 33:22 *NIV )

God's love for each one of us is tremendous indeed!
For every child of His is very important to Him!

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning.

Whenever you want to talk, He listens.

He can live anywhere in the Universe, but He chose your heart.

Now God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without
sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the
day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

So face it, He is crazy about you!

Therefore let us; Give thenks to the Lord, for He is
good; His love endures forever! Amen.

CLEANING HOUSE FOR 2009

Last Week I threw out worrying, it was getting old and in the way.

It kept me from being me; I couldn't do things God's way.

I threw out a book on MY PAST
(Didn't have time to read it anyway).

Replaced it with NEW GOALS, started reading it today.

I threw out hate and bad memories,
(Remember how I treasured them so)?

Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too, threw out the one from long ago.

Brought in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, and I MUST.

Threw out I might, I think and I ought.
WOW, you should've seen the dust.

I ran across an OLD FRIEND, I hadn't talked to in a while.

His name is GOD the Father, and I really like His style.

He helped me to do some cleaning and added some things Himself.

Like PRAYER, HOPE, FAITH and LOVE,
Yes... I placed them right on the shelf.

I picked up this special thing and placed it at the front door.

I FOUND IT- it's called PEACE. Nothing gets me down anymore.

Yes, I've got my house looking nice.

Looks good around the place.

For things like Worry and Trouble there just isn't any space.

It's good to do a little house cleaning,
Get rid of the things on the shelf.

It sure makes things brighter; maybe you should TRY IT YOURSELF.
BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

May the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that
you will not have room enough to receive it all.
.

May the Lord bless you exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever
hope for.

Take 60 seconds & Bless someone!
Keep the Faith!!!

Little acts of kindness

The Lord your God will keep his covenant
of love with you, as he swore to your
forefathers. He will love you and bless.
( Deuteronomy 7:12-13 *NIV )

Sadly, as you know this World is filled with people who feel
unloved, and will do almost anything to find it. What a shame
it is that they do not know God, for it is written; God is love.
Who ever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
( 1 John 4:16 )

After all, whether they know it or not, everyone is surrounded
by God's Great Love for it is like the oxygen we breathe; there is
plenty of it for each of us, and still so very many are starving for it!

Why not reach out to another today, and share a little of God's
love with them. After all Jesus said; "You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.'" ( Matthew 19:19 ) and
He also said, "This is my command: Love each
other." ( John 15:17 )

After all sharing God's Love is as simple to do as saying thank
you to a store clerk, or just smiling at another and saying "How
are you today!" Little acts of kindness like these go along way
towards brightening up another's day, and by doing such things it
brightens our day as well!

So, the next time you pray thank God for filling you
with His Love, and remember to; Give thanks to the Lord ,
for he is good. His love endures forever.
Amen! ( Psalms 136:1 )

Tuesday, January 13, 2009

Be faithful

Be faithful, even to the point of death,
and I will give you the crown of life.
( Revelation 2:10 *NIV )

There are many times in this life when our faith is put to the
test. Times that we may even feel that God has abandoned us
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want it to be.
Know that it is written; Though now for a little while you
may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
These have come so that your faith of greater worth
than gold, which perishes even though refined by
fire may be proved genuine and may result in praise,
glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
( 1 Peter 1:6-7 )

Also know that sometimes what we pray for isn't God's will
for us thus; This is the confidence we have in approaching
God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He
hears us. ( 1 John 5:14-15 )

You see, sometimes what we pray for would actually
hurt us in the long run, and our Heavenly Father is protecting us
from that. Other times we just can't understand God's ways for;
No one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of
God. ( 1 Corinthians 2:11 )

However, we do know He loves us very much, and would never
abandoned us or deliberately hurt us. So we must keep our faith
knowing that God is with us and that no matter what happens
He is in control! Therefore it is important that; We walk by faith,
not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) trusting that God knows what
is best for us, even if a prayer isn't answered the way we want it to be!
Amen.

God Usually Meets us at Our Level of Expectancy

God usually meets us at our level of expectancy. If you don't develop the habit of expecting good things to come your way, then you're not likely to receive anything good.

If you don't expect things to get better, they probably won't.

If all you expect is more of the same, that's all you're going to have.
Our expectations set the boundaries for our lives. Jesus said, "According to your faith....be it done to you." In other words, "Have what your faith expects."

Some people tend to expect the worst. They go around with that "poor-old-me mentality," always negative, always depressed. "God, why don't You do something about my situation?" they grouse. "This is not fair!" They have what their faith expects.

Other people honestly feel so overwhelmed by their troubles, they have difficulty believing that anything good could happen to them. You hear them saying things such as, "Oh. I've got so many problems. My marriage is in trouble. My children won't do right. My business isn't doing well. My health is going downhill. How can I live with enthusiasm? How do you expect me to get up and say this is going to be a good day, when I have this Big mess on my hands?"

Friends, that's what faith is all about. You have to start believing that good things are coming your way, and they will! What are you expecting in life? Are you anticipating good things or bad things, significance or mediocrity?

Are you expecting things to change in your favor? Are you expecting to experience the goodness of God? Or are you allowing your circumstances or feelings to dull your enthusiasm for life and imprison you in a negative frame of mind? You must look through your "eye of faith" and start seeing yourself as happy, healthy, and whole.

That means even when your situation looks bleak, when you're tempted to be discouraged or depressed, you must encourage yourself by praying,"God, I know that you are in control, and even though this looks impossible, I know today could be the day that things turn around.

Today could be the day you restore my marriage. This could be the day You bring my child home. Today may be the day my business begins to prosper exponentially. This could be the day I see my Miracle."

Then keep believing and watching for those good things to come to fruition in your life. You must make a conscious decision, an act of your will, to maintain an attitude of expectancy and keep your mind filled with thoughts of hope.

May God bless each and every one of you who reads this

Recipe For A Wonderful New Year

Take twelve whole months.
Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate, and jealousy.
Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.
Now cut each month into 28, 30 or 31 parts, but don't make up the whole batch at once.

Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients:
Mix well into each day one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage, and one part of work.

Add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation, and one good deed.
Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play, and a cupful of good humor.

Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with a smile, and serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness.

ENJOY

A Fresh Start in this Coming Year

As we come to the beginning of a new year and the ending of an old one, we often wish we could turn over a new leaf or have a fresh start. No doubt about it, there have been certain things we have said or done in this past year that we have come to regret.

Wouldn't it be great to just start over again? In reality, as a Christian you can have a fresh start. The New Year is still a blank slate. There are opportunities ahead of you. You decide which path you are going to walk in this coming year. "Thus says the LORD: 'Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls'" (Jeremiah 6:16). You decide what your priorities are going to be. You decide which direction you are going to take, each and every day.

Maybe some of us need a fresh start in this coming year. Here is a great opportunity to make a new commitment. We don't know what the New Year is going to bring. We don't know what problems we are going to encounter. We don't know what changes are going to come. We don't know what blessings the Lord has in store for us. But whatever the New Year holds, we don't have to be afraid because Jesus Christ is going to be waiting there for us.

"Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God."
God is in control of your future. He is ready to bless you in this coming year.

Do not dwell on the past

Be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving each other, just as in Christ God
forgave you.
( Ephesians 4:32 *NIV )

It is easy for us to ask God for forgiveness, but we often
find it very difficult to forgive others. Therefore when you
find yourself angry with someone and thinking about revenge,
remember that it is written; Do not take revenge, my
friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it
is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,
" says the Lord. ( Romans 12:19 )

After all our Savoir Jesus Christ gave us this warning as well;
For if you forgive men when they sin against you,
your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if
you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will
not forgive your sins. ( Matthew 6:14-15 )

Therefore; "Forget the former things; do not dwell on
the past. ( Isaiah 43:18 ) For the past is gone and no
one can change it anyway! All we can do is make today the
best that we can by forgiving our enemies, just as God has
forgiven us!

So why not make peace with those who may have
angered you, remembering the Words of our Savior Jesus
Christ; Blessed are the peacemakers, for
they will be called sons of God. Amen.
( Matthew 5:9 )

Christmas really stands for the Birth of our Lord

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and
bear a Son, and they shall call His name
Immanuel,"* which is translated, "God with
us." ( Matthew 1:23 NKJV )

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
and the government will be upon His shoulder.
and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
( Isaiah 9:6 )

As we prepare to celebrate Christ's Birth, try not to get caught
up in the hustle bustle of the season, which is easy to do with
Santa Claus, Christmas Trees and Presents. Always keep in
mind that Christmas really stands for the Birth of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ and His great gifts to us, including the
Forgiveness of our sins and Eternal Life as well.

Now it is my prayer that your Christmas be filled with love,
hope and faith, and that; the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
( Philippians 4:7 )

Have a Very Merry Christmas, and may it be
happy and bright as well!. Amen.

God's joy within you

Whoever gives heed to instruction
prospers, and blessed is he who
trusts in the LORD .
( Proverbs 16:20 *NIV )

Never let the enemy still your joy and leave you
downcast! Instead enjoy what God has given to you,
for; Blessed are the people of whom this is true;
blessed are the people whose God is the
LORD . ( Psalms 144:15 )

Now when we have negative thoughts it draws negative
results into our lives. Likewise, when we think positive
thoughts we draw positive results in as well!

After all when we are downcast it brings on depression,
worry and anxiety. All of those things are known to cause
health problems. So always think positive for; A merry
heart does good, like medicine, But a broken
spirit dries the bones. ( Proverbs 17:22 )

Now I know that; A righteous man may have many
troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
( Psalm 34:19 ) So again, do not let the enemy steal your
joy on any day. For you know that; Your enemy the devil
prowls around like a roaring lion looking for some-

Enjoy what God has planned for you, and
show that beautiful smile of yours. For when you smile it shows
God's joy within you!

Amen

Why Jesus is Better Than Santa Claus

Santa lives at the North Pole.....
JESUS is everywhere,

Santa rides in a sleigh.....
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year....
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies....
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited…
JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart.

You have to wait in line to see Santa....
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap....
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is “Hi little boy or girl, what’s your name?”..
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He knows how many hairs are on our heads.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "you better not cry”
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa’s little helpers make toys I
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly....
JESUS has a heart full of love.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree.....
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It’s obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas, Jesus is stil1 the reason for the season.
Yes. Jesus is better, he is even better than Santa Clause

The greatest example of love

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no
longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved
me and gave Himself for me.
( Galatians 2:20 *NKJV )

Now this verse was written by the Apostle Paul, but it
also applies to you and me as well. Now you are probably
thinking how does that apply to me? Well in God's eyes
our past sin debt was paid in full when Christ died on the
cross.
.
Thus it is written; And you, being dead in your
trespasses and the uncircumcision of your
flesh, He has made alive together with Him,
having forgiven you all trespasses, having
wiped out the handwriting of requirements
that was against us, which was contrary to
us. And He has taken it out of the way, having
nailed it to the cross. ( Colossians 2:13-14 )

Therefore we should also crucify our sinful desires each
and every day. For then the marks against us in The Book of
Life will continue to be cleansed by the most precious blood
of our Savior Jesus Christ!

So, if you are ever feeling unloved remember
the tremendous sacrifice made, and the tremendous price
paid for your sins! That is the greatest example of love
that this World has ever known, and it is offered daily to
you and me as well.

Amen.

Thanks be to God for His wonderful gifts

Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the
heavenly lights, who does not change
like shifting shadows.
( James 1:17 *NIV )

There may be times we feel we are not blessed, times when
our troubles surround us. When we feel that way we should
take a good look around us, for then we will see many others
who have much less then we do. So counting our blessing
should be a daily event.

Now It is important to remember that our many blessings are
from our Heavenly Father. Therefore we should count our
many blessings and thank Him for them daily; Always giving
thanks to God the Father for everything,
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
( Ephesians 5:20 )

Now the following words sums this up much better then I could!
They are the written words of an old song. I hope that you will
enjoy it as much as I do.

DRINKING FROM MY SAUCER

I've never made a fortune
And its probably to late now,
But I don't worry about that much
I'm happy anyhow.

And as I go along life's way
I'm reaping better than I sow.
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed!

Haven't got a lot of riches
And sometimes the going's tough,
But I've got loving ones around me
And that makes me rich enough.

I thank God for His blessings
And the mercies He's bestowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed!

Oh, I remember times when things went wrong
And my faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke
And sun peeped through again.

So Lord, help me not to gripe
About the tough rows that I've hoed.
I'm drinking from my saucer
"Cause my cup has overflowed!

If God gives me strength and courage
When the way grows steep and rough,
I'll not ask for other blessings
I'm already blessed enough.

And may I never be too busy
To help others bear their loads,
Them I'll keep drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed!

From a song by: Michael Combs

Therefore; Thanks be to God for His wonderful
gifts. For through Him all blessings flow indeed. Amen!
( 2 Corinthians 9:15 )

keep Jesus in the center of your life

Do you not know? Have you not
heard? The LORD is the everlasting
God, the Creator of the ends of
the earth. He will not grow tired
or weary, and his understanding
no one can fathom.
( Isaiah 40:28 *NIV )

The Puzzle:

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by
his little daughter, Kelly. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his
magazine on which was printed the map of the World.

Then tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Kelly, and said,
"Go into the other room and see if you can put this together."
He was sure that would keep her busy all afternoon!

After only a few minutes, Kelly returned and handed him the
map, correctly fitted together. The father was surprised and asked
how she had finished so quickly.

"Oh," she said, on the other side of the paper is a picture of
Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then the
World came together.....
__________________

We may Smile and have a Wonderful Day with Jesus in the
center of our picture as well for; He tends his flock
like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs
in his arms and carries them close to
his heart; he gently leads those that have
young. ( Isaiah 40:11 )

So always remember to
keep Jesus in the center of your life, and your World will come
together as well!

May the God of peace,
who through the blood of the eternal
covenant brought back from the dead our
Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the
sheep, equip you with everything good
for doing his will, and may he work in us
what is pleasing to him, through Jesus
Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen. ( Hebrews 13:20-21 )

The things which are impossible with men are possible with God

You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs
of deliverance.
( Psalms 32:7 *NKJV )

When problems surround us and we feel
overwhelmed by them, we all would like to escape from
them even if it is for only a little while! When we turn our
problems over to God we can escape!

Thus, just like king David who wrote; Though I
walk in the midst of trouble, You will
revive me; You will stretch out Your
hand Against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me. For
in the time of trouble He shall hide
me in His pavilion; In the secret place
of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He
shall set me high upon a rock.
( Psalms 138:7 ) ( Psalm 27:5 )

For; The LORD will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought, And
strengthen your bones; You shall be like
a watered garden, And like a spring of
water, whose waters do not fail.
( Isaiah 58:11 )

So, the next time problems start getting you
down, and you think it is impossible to handle them,
remember the words of our Savior Jesus Christ; "The
things which are impossible with men
are possible with God." Amen.
( Luke 18:27 )

You are the light of the world

You were once darkness, but now you are light in
the Lord. Live as children of light for the fruit of
the light consists in all goodness, righteousness
and truth.
( Ephesians 5:8-10 *NIV )

As Childern of Light our actions should reflect our faith, and shine
brightly to others. We should never be afraid to show our faith no
matter where we are, or whom we are with. After all we are beacons
of God's Love shining out into dark World that is searching for love
in all the wrong places. A World that is full of people without love,
hope and faith.

Therefore our Savior Jesus Christ stressed this truth in the
Sermon on the Mount, for He said, "You are the light
of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under
a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it
gives light to everyone in the house.
( Matthew 5:14-15 )

Further, you probably have known people that
seem to light up a room when they enter, well, "In the same
way, let your light shine before men, that they may
see your good deeds and praise your Father
in Heaven." ( Matthew 5:16 )

Now you may be thinking "my light is a dim one." Well, I believe
that our dim light is magnified by the immense mirror of God's Love.
Thus it truly shines brightly when we tell others about our Heavenly
Father, and show goodness toward the people in our lives! So try
it today and see for yourself, for if everyone would light just one
little candle what a bright World this would be!

Amen

ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT.......PRAY

God has given us the power to change the outcome of everything that is happening in America,
including the Presidential election
If we do this
ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT...

Do you believe we can believe God’s Word? Call upon His name, then stand back and watch His wonders to behold. This scripture gives us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it. I challenge you to do so. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land.

This election is the scariest I remember in my lifetime. 2 Chronicles 7:14...'If My people, which are called by My Name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.'

During WWII, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace. This had an amazing effect as bombing stopped. There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America.

The United States of America and our citizens need prayer more than ever!!! If you would like to participate: each evening at

9:00 PM Eastern Time;
8:00 PM Central;
7:00 PM Mountain;
6:00 PM Pacific;
STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING

and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, for peace in the world, the upcoming election, that the Bible will remain the basis for the laws governing our land and that Christianity will grow in the U.S.

If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along. Someone said if people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

Thank you. Please pass this on to anyone who you think will want to join us. God Bless You!!!

The LORD is my helper

When you pass through the waters, I will be
with you; And through the rivers, they shall
not overflow you. When you walk through
the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall
the flame scorch you.
( Isaiah 43:2 *NKJV )

There are times in our life when we find ourselves in
difficult situations. Times when our faith is put to the test.
We may even feel that God has abandoned us, and that
we are all alone.

When you feel that way remember that it is written;
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may
boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?" ( Hebrews 13:5-6 )

Therefore, when you pass through the waters of difficulty,
and the flames of distress, know that God is always there
with you. For, The LORD is good, A stronghold in the
day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
( Nahum 1:7 )

So, always remember that you are walking,
hand in hand, with your Heavenly Father when those difficult
times arrive, and that He Loves You very much because
you are one of His beloved children!

Now, have a Great Weekend. Amen.
